How We Got Our Start

Tilly Wise has been a part my family for ever and ever.  It started with stories of two different Wise Owls, moving from city to city with us Pray children, and getting into all kinds of adventures, mishaps and sticky situations.  When I had my daughter Matilda, I introduced the Wise Owl tradition through storytelling at bedtime.  The passion I have for connecting with families, storytelling, reading out loud, and sharing cozy time with the people we love have been the biggest driving force behind the birth of this book.  After working with an editing team, The talented Emma Slawson signed on to illustrate the story and really bring Tilly to life.  With the support of family, Emma's incredible art, and the tradition of storytelling deep in my bones - I am pleased to introduce Tilly Wise Adventures.
